Internship
Many people wonder what we mean by an internship. This is the first step in Dive Pro Community.
Internship takes your knowledge to a professional level, through self-study and mentoring from a PADI Instructor and sets the foundation upon which you build a career.
The divemaster training is not a structured course with a set timetable.
You are welcomed as part of the Silent Explorers team, and work as part of the team throughout your training with us.
Many of skills you need to develop depend on your judgment. Judgment is not taught; it is developed through coaching and mentoring.
We will ensure that you gain experience assisting a seasoned PADI instructor in many aspects of a dive professionals’ job. This will be including assisting on training at all levels from Discover Scuba Diving through to the Rescue course. You will assist by guiding certified divers of differing abilities at different sites in varying conditions.
Over a 4 months period we will be able to expose you to the experiences you need to become a knowledgeable, confident divemaster.
You will have some classroom sessions and some in-water skill development sessions.
During the internship, you will spend days assisting instructors teaching courses, days will be spent spread between classroom, confined water and open water sessions developing your specific dive skills and knowledge, the rest will be spent assisting with the certified divers fun diving.
All you need to bring with you is a good mood and the willing of working as hard as it takes.
With Silent Explorers Internship you can accomplish until the level of Dive Master. After that you are more than welcome to work with us the next season as a Professional.

We search for Dive Instructors, DIvemasters and sales pros for the current season (1 May until 30 September).
We are looking for friendly & pleasant people who are able working under pressure and who speak at least good English. Any other speaking language is a privilege with the big preference in German and French. Valid Driving license is a must.
We also appreciate and distinguish those who bring their good mood in addition to their willing of working hard.
